There are three different types of government-provided houses offered at the Curti Center: Type A and B are located on the outskirts of the main villa, whereas Type C are located near the administrative buildings. All have a small garden, more or less big depending on the house size, as well as a mailbox. The specs below are just general: characters are free to move beds, tables, whatever they want. Characters can request to move into another house, so long as the house is free or they have permission to move in, if they chose to move in with someone else.

TYPES OF PERMANENT HOUSING
Royal City of Myste Aura: Types A-C
Housing in the Royal City tends to be simple and made from relatively cheap materials, often elevated on wooden stilts. Because residents can expect flooding at least several times a year due to the waterfront location, they prefer to live in homes that can be easily rebuilt or repaired. These homes do not offer many luxuries, although a large bathtub and shower unit come standard to help keep Zora and Hypello residents properly hydrated.
Lavode: Condominiums, Type C
A destination for the rich and famous, Lavode offers a variety of large houses that could be referred to as mansions, and chic, trendy apartments. These homes offer all of the luxuries currently found in the world of Vaikuntha- elaborate bathrooms, elegant dining rooms, spacious living areas, and walk-in closets larger than some of the apartments in the Royal City. These homes do not come cheap, however, and usually only those who have been blessed by fortune or born into wealth and high status can afford to stay here for longer than a week-long vacation.
Ka’Pandol: Communal homes, Types B-C for non-Zora
The communal homes of the Ka’Pandolans are a curiosity to the outside world. Build from coral-like structures and furnished with driftwood furniture, the homes here are non-traditional but surprisingly cosy. Because the city is build underwater, the homes (and the city itself) are lit by bioluminescent plants and crystals suspended from the ceilings and walls.
Safer Osu: Apartments, Types A-C
The apartments in this industrial city are sturdy units made from steel and concrete. They are well-insulated against the harsh cold of the winter months and the noise of the airship production factories. The amenities are modern and practical with minimal ornamentation.
Cloud City: Types A-B
Space is at a premium at this altitude. The apartments in Cloud City are small and rooms are designed to serve multiple functions. Heroes that take up lodgings in Cloud City will be paying for the view, not an abundance of room. Most of the homes are build with light building materials, and structures tend to go up rather than out. Because of the large population of Elezen, doors and ceilings are build high to accommodate taller residents.
Tark Varentain: A-B, family homes
For those not living in the large military barracks, the housing selection in Tark Varentain runs towards traditional brick houses meant for families. These homes often have fences around their borders to keep out intruders and increase privacy. The size and prices of these homes range from relatively cheap starter houses to more renovated and well-stocked houses.
Von Oktavia: Apartments, A-C, C is much more expensive
In a city built to accommodate the smallest of the races, average-height humans will learn the struggle known to their much taller friends. Ceilings and door frames in these homes are low and human-sized residents and guests will have to stoop to enter buildings here unless they choose one of the more expensive C-type homes that have been custom-built for taller residents. One of the main perks of living here is the cutting edge technology available in the “City of the Future”, although unfortunately appliances built in Von Oktavia are also scaled to Lalafell and Pupu size.
Sparks Golsaucia: Apartments, A-B available for normal sized characters
The apartments available in Sparks Golsaucia are modest in design and in price, found in tall complexes throughout the city. They are made for people who plan to be out most of the time, enjoying the various entertainment options this city offers. The rooms are on the smaller size, and residents often bemoan the limited closet space, but each unit has a balcony where residents can relax or dine looking out over the city. An odd feature the most advanced of the units share is sliding doors that announce when the are opening or closing.
Hisan City: Apartments, Types A-C
In spite of the high population of humans and general availability of space, Hisan City has a ‘tiny house’ trend. Homes are small and focus on conserving space and energy. Residents spend more time in the numerous parks and restaurants in the city than at home, and they value original art and clever space-saving features over square footage. Apartments are relatively cheap to rent, but the cost of living in the city can be high in terms of food, entertainment, etc.
Arito: Types A-C, Dormitories
Housing in Arito varies based on proximity to the universities and museums. Students can choose to stay in a dorm room on campus for relatively cheap, but they will sacrifice privacy as they will have a roommate. Apartments near the learning centers are highly coveted (and expensive) have strict quiet hours imposed to allow for rest and studying. Neighborhoods further away from the campus cater to night owls and are often the location of wild post-exam parties. These homes are less costly, but beware loud neighbors.
Nakagawa: Houses, Types A-B
The rural town of Nakagawa offers nice housing for a low cost. Other than the river running alongside the town, the only thing for miles is farmland, giving the residents an abundance of space in which to build their homes. To compensate for the general lack of entertainment options around them, people in Nakagawa try to make sure their houses are comfortable and well-equipped for many evenings spent at home. Homes tend to be constructed from wood, and those near the waterfront are built on stilts to keep them from being damaged in the event of flooding.
Kiddilion: Apartments and Communal Houses, Type A
Due to the nature of the cavernous underground city, housing in Kiddilion is rather non-traditional. Some ‘apartments’ are caves fitted with furniture and a door, and the houses constructed in the open spaces are usually made with a Frankenstein-esque assortment of materials cobbled together from whatever was on-hand. Privacy is highly valued in this smuggler’s haven, but residents also recognize the safety of numbers; it is common to find smaller houses or apartments interconnected with one another so that members of guilds an organizations can remain close but retain their personal space.
Yun Ashia: Apartments, Types A-C
Yun Ashia markets itself as a pastoral paradise, and is a popular choice for those wishing to lead a quiet and peaceful life. Houses of all sizes are available, with most models including a screened porch to allow residents to enjoy the scenic view of the island and a shed out back that can serve as a chocobo stable. Houses are spaced out, so the nearest neighbors are usually a brisk walk away. Brick and stone are the most popular building material, and houses tend to be built to last for generations. It is not uncommon for multiple generations of Yun Ashians to have lived in the same house their whole lives.
