Character: Castor Westmoore
Duration: July 25-August 1.
Canon Change: From the 4.2 to the 4.3 MSQ update; This will mostly serve to make Castor very grouchy and anxious for a while, as Things Ended Badly Once Again, and also a cherished companion waltzed off onto his own adventure. Behind enemy lines. But hey, Castor's home from Doma for the forseeable future!

Duration: 11/3 - 11/10
Canon Change: Post s6 to S7E13.
The destruction of the castleship was problematic, causing the Paladins (and Coran and Shiro) to become displaced from time. They essentially lost three years, though it certainly didn't feel like that. The Lions ran out of power as a result of this, and they became stranded in space for a bit. It's during this time that they meet a god (and play a ridiculous game show with stupidly high stakes). When they finally did make it to Earth, it was to discover that it was under galra occupation. But they eventually save the world and drive the galra away, followed by an emotional reunion with family and friends. And because nothing is simple, they also discover an even bigger threat on the horizon.

Character: Adrien Agreste
Duration: January 14th - 21st
Canon Change: From Season One and the Christmas Special up to the end of Season Two, not much about Adrien changes personality-wise. However, he does begin to show a little more anger and frustrations than before due in part to his father having more lapses in being around, Ladybug not being entirely truthful with him early on, and growing concerns of being replaced as more heroes are brought in. It reaches two instances of desperation where he attempts to bribe his kwami with cheese and even threatens to renounce Plagg (ie, remove the Cat Miraculous and trapping Plagg back within the ring). Fortunately, things don't escalate beyond that point as Ladybug reassures him he's not being replaced and Master Fu comes to speak with him.
His relationships become a little more complicated as well - mainly in concerns of whether or not he's in love with Ladybug, likes Marinette, and ends up sending all the mixed signals to everyone around him. He only finds out this Season that Ladybug didn't realize he's genuinely in love with her and that she likes someone else.
Finally, his suit gets an upgrade - the ability to be transformed into something more suitable (pun not totally intended) in battle IE Aqua Form to fight against Syren the mermaid akuma and Glacial Form to fight Frozer the ice-skating akuma.

Duration: 2/1-2/8
Canon Change: Tyzias's time in the Cloud will cause her to remember all of her timelines that she shared with the MSPA Reader during the Friendsims. While the content of these timelines will all be fairly mundane for Alternia, her entire life being thrust into a state of temporal uncertainty will do a number on her psychology, and she'll be having an existential crisis over this.

Canon Change: During Lost Light #22 to after the end of the series, in the "Stay in Cybertron" ending.
The group saves the universe and complete their quest, then the story splits into two timelines. In this copy of the cast, Magnus defends Megatron in court and sees him executed for his crimes, but destroys the Magnus Armor for good. Minimus Ambus becomes the overseer of a new generation of Cybertronians. He's more open to walking around as Minimus and completes his transformation into ROBOT DAD>

Character: Megatron
Duration: 7/15 to 7/22
Canon Change: End of Lost Light issue 22 to the series finale at the end of issue 25. Megatron returned to his own universe, defeated the Functionist Council with the rest of Team Rodimus, and then got quantum-duplicated along with the ship and the crew and shunted into a different reality before they returned to Cybertron in an effort to keep their adventures going forever, with a new universe to explore. One Lost Light re-materialized at Cybertron where Megatron was taken into custody, tried by the Galactic Council, and likely executed. This Megatron is from the duplicate ship that got shunted into an alternate universe, a fact he will now be aware of.
